Project Description

I lead a comprehensive rebrand of The MSA Coalition, now Mission MSA, to better reflect its mission of improving the lives of those affected by multiple system atrophy (MSA) and advancing research toward a cure. This rebrand included renaming the organization through stakeholder focus groups, developing a cohesive brand strategy, and creating a new brand identity that emphasizes empowerment, support, and hope. I contributed to all aspects of the project, including creative leadership, UX design, website design, and a strategic marketing launch. The new branding—characterized by bold, warm colors and a focus on strength and resilience—enables Mission MSA to resonate more deeply with its community. I also developed a comprehensive brand guidelines book, social media assets, collateral, and print materials, overseeing the seamless rollout of this revitalized brand.

I carried this branding through into the creation of an entirely new event under the Mission MSA umbrella. The design for the International MSA Congress seamlessly integrates with Mission MSA's branding by incorporating their distinctive color palette, typography, and logo, ensuring consistency across all event materials. This cohesive visual identity enhances brand recognition and conveys professionalism and trustworthiness. By maintaining brand consistency, the design entices engagement from potential attendees, sponsors, and partners. Clear and compelling visuals, combined with user-friendly layouts, facilitate easy access to information about the event's purpose, schedule, and opportunities for involvement. Highlighting the congress's focus on advancing MSA research and care emphasizes the event's significance and the positive impact of participation.
